"I would have expected more regional wine selection at the bar. The breakfast was underwhelming (e.g., empty orange juice container, even though hardly any guests were at breakfast). The most annoying part was the fact that the hotel could only be reached via a 20 minute detour due to construction; it would have been nice if the hotel would have notified guests ahead of time"

"Comfortable quiet hotel. Located out of town up a steep hill a little out of town so as we were on a bike and didn't feel like riding back down the hill and into town had to have the buffet dinner as well as the breakfast at the Hotel. Beds were comfortable and is in a quiet location."

"We (a family of 7 with young kids) had a fantastic time staying at this house in Unkel. The house is just as described, spacious, nicely decorated and very well equipped. The host was very friendly and helpful, personally greeted us on arrival and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals, and there is plenty of crockery, glasses etc to entertain a large group. There’s a lovely garden with a patio and a BBQ. The house is very well situated, in walking distance to both a couple of big supermarkets and other shops as well as the old town and the Rhine. We would definitely book this house again. "
