The steps to the apartment are steep, as people have mentioned, the bigger issue is that they’re uneven, so you suddenly meet a step that’s a lot deeper than the others, it’s not too bad going up, but be careful going down. "Very impressive hotel. Plenty of available parking and on arriving the staff at reception were helpful, friendly and ensured our check in was quick and easy. Lovely bar and restaurant where we ate as it was extremely well presented/decorated/furnished. My room was large and well appointed and like the rest of the hotel nicely furnished /decorated and it makes a pleasant change to a lot of hotel rooms to have both a large shower and large bath. Both our evening meal and breakfast were excellent. Highly recommend this hotel especially useful for our trip as we were returning from Germany and need a stop over before travelling home from Calais as only a short journey to Le Shuttle/Calais."
