Happy Hour is a four-bedroom, two-bathroom home one lot from the ocean! The new owners have added new mattresses to most bedrooms, a new living room sectional, a coffee table, plus a new refrigerator (as of 2022) and a new microwave.

With plenty of deck furniture and beach access just three lots away, this home is designed for optimal ocean gazing. Conveniently located in Avon, Happy Hour is in very close proximity to Food Lion and the surrounding shops. No need to worry about carrying the groceries up the stairs, because a Stair Tamer is also available for lifting groceries and luggage into the house.

At the top level, you will find the kitchen, dining room, queen bedroom, bathroom, and a contemporary decorated living room with coastal accents featured throughout. The living room is equipped with a new 55' Smart TV with cable. One story below is the remaining bedrooms, bathroom, and laundry space. This level has a cozy pyramid bedroom with the remaining bedrooms all featuring queen-size beds. In addition, all the bedrooms in the house have their own 32-inch smart TVs.

With beach access three houses down and ocean views from the deck and the living room, every hour is Happy Hour!

THINGS TO KNOW
Private pools are open for use from the arrival weekends from April 1 to October 13, 2023.
Guest will need to use their accounts for streaming on the smart TVs
As of 2022 this home will no longer permit pets. In the event of pet allergies, the Homeowner does occasionally visit with pets in the home and would like the guests to be aware of this should pet allergies be an issue.

Enjoyed our week at this great cottage

Cottage was perfect for our week! Conveniently located just blocks from the Food Lion and the beach access. Very short walk to the beach! Lots of games and puzzles for our rainy days. Everyone also enjoyed the ring game on top deck. Will definitely be coming back to this cottage again!

Great Ocean Views!!

We love the ocean views and the location. The beach is a short walk away. There are many restaurants to choose from and the grocery was really close. This house is very well stocked with all the necessities. However, make sure you bring pot holders. Beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was used every day. The cargo lift is a nice plus that saved us a lot of work and steps. The one thing that was a problem was the trees at the end of the driveway. It was difficult to safely pull out into traffic.

Loved our stay at Happy Hour!!

We had the very best time at Happy Hour, and it was the perfect home for us for the week! The house is immaculate, and the furnishings are fresh and new. The beds are exceptionally comfortable – perfect for falling into after long days in the water and sun! The kitchen was well stocked with pans and dishes, it had everything we needed. The deck was one of our favorite spots, with plenty of seating and even a table for eating outside with great views of the ocean! The access to the beach was one of the easiest we experienced on the island – relatively flat with a boardwalk and mat getting you out to the beach. So convenient to the Food Lion, Ducks Donuts, Bros and so much more – walking distance if you’re so inclined. We made memories here that will last us a lifetime!

Convenient and clean spot in Avon!

Awesome location, almost directly across the street from the new beach access and Food Lion behind. Well equipped kitchen. Things to note: there are no beach accessories with this property, definitely plan to bring your own. The linens provided are subpar, so I would recommend bringing your own if possible, as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Pretty Happy at Happy Hour

Loved the stair tamer (dumb waiter) to get belongings up. Ice maker was great. Not fond of shower on main floor being in spa tub. Not easy to get in and out of. No grab bar to use.

Avon is a magical place and Happy Hour is the perfect spot to enjoy it.

My wife and I just spent three weeks at Happy Hour in Avon. We. loved it. We had a week to ourselves, a week with our kids, and a week with friends. Everyone loved the house. Happy Hour has a wide-open living room, dining room, and kitchen space that is bright and has wonderful ocean views. It is a welcoming place to hang out, and gather, and has sliding doors to the deck from every room on the top floor. It has an open deck on the top floor and a covered deck on the lower floor which results in every room having pretty great views of the water. The kitchen is stocked with great cookware, the beds were comfy, and the appliances and washer and dryer worked flawlessly. It has excellent beach access and a nice hot tub. And it is within walking distance of a grocery store, a doughnut shop, and couple of restaurants. Nice place.

Zero stars for Vacasa. House is fine.

Found out one day in that our Hot tub wasn't working. Contacted Vacasa 4 times. Each time someone was supposed to reach back out but nobody ever called. Hot tub was never fixed. House is fine. A little dated. The dumbwaiter elevator is fantastic!!! The location is fantastic!!! Hopefully, Vacasa does the right thing and refunds me some money since the hot tub was a big selling point for me...and I never got to use it.
