"What a wonderful surprise was the La Fonda Hotel from the delightful check in staff to the “goodie” basket and all the receptions. The room was immaculate and the bed most comfortable. The hotel was just decorating for Christmas which gave it a magical atmosphere. The staff was to helpful and so eager to please. The location of the hotel is excellent to restaurants, wine tasting and walks on the beach. We highly recommend a stay at this lovely, cozy beach town hotel."

"Our room had a large balcony and from it during daylight hours we could see the ocean. The hotel is on a bluff but has stairs where guests can walk down to Pismo Beach and walk for miles on the pristine sand and then on the Boardwalk. You can also walk to the cute shops and onto the Pismo Pier. The pier has a Christmas tree lit up at night that you can see from the hotel."
