"The staff are wonderful. I wish check in hours weren’t so limited - we arrived earlier than expected and wanted to drop off our bags, but had to wait around in the car a long time (since we didn’t want to leave our luggage unattended) until the check in hour that begins at 5p, since the doors are locked and no one answered the door until then. Also wish that they had AC- it was pretty hot during our stay."

"Very clean room. Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. With an amazing restaurant, excellent food and wines. We booked half board and although our choice of food was more limited, it was really delicious.
And good breakfast. Would definitely recommend and book again if we were in the area."

"The owners, Gaelle and Bruno, are grand hosts and are charming. This visit was our second, and if we return to Amboise, we will stay there again. The rooms in the manor house are spacious and well appointed. Breakfast is a must. Our hosts provided recommendations for dinner that were not tourist oriented, and helped us schedule a taxi to the railway station."

"We had a two night stay, we don't eat breakfast but the staff provided us with a kettle which was much appreciated so we could make tea in the morning. The room was compact but had all that we needed and was clean, tidy and well looked after. There is underground parking opposite the Hotel in the square which was cheap and easy to book on the App. All in all a throughly good experience and a very convenient location from which to explore the city."
"Beautiful hotel idealy situated for the ancient town of Amboise. We had the quadruple room which , with two teenage boys, meant that we had one room that was conveniently separated into two.
Really clean, comfortable beds and very pleasant staff.
Breakfast was expensive with only under 12s getting a discount and even then not much. Lots of cafes and boulangeries where we got breakfast and lunch for less than the breakfast.
Also a little disappointing that the bar was closed but again, by being so close to the town centre it wasn't much of an inconvenience.
Would definitely stay again."
"When we checked in the staff member was very polite and helpful with some key points. We had a top floor room with a nice view of the river and towards the city.
The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the air-con worked a treat as was the heat wave, bathroom was excellent and there was a safe.
However, it did lacked luggage space and the TV never worked, but it did not disturb us too much. No milk for the coffees.
Breakfast was fine, basic selection and some of the hot food looked like it had been out for too long.
We enjoyed the stay, stayed in other Hilton by Hampton and had better and for a lower price, but seemed to be the Tours rate."
"The hotel was really nice. Very well maintained and everything about it felt like a decent hotel. The evening meal was delicious and they have a great selection of cocktails.
My only gripes would be that: the service wasn’t great for the latter part of that meal (maybe because we were there towards the end of the evening after a very long drive, so had to pre-book a later table to make sure we could get something to eat) but the attentiveness definitely fell off after we’d received our main meals. The other gripe would be that the cost of the continental breakfast wasn’t good value in my opinion if requested as room service; the charge for room service was a few euros, so that wasn’t a problem, but the cost of the actual breakfast against what you could choose was disappointing. I’m sure you could choose more items if you went to the restaurant, but for room service it was several options with just one item per option.
Overall, I would still return to this hotel though."
"I don't usually write reviews but Morgan was so helpful I had to write one. We arrived with 2 young children who had just had a long ferry and car journey and needed to move! She was so accomodating, patient and helpful with us all while she was giving us local recommendations and answered all our questions. She also provided us some milk for the children in the evening when we couldn't get any from the shop. Thank you! The breakfast was also very good."
