Welcome to The Ivy, our bottom floor cozy nest in the heart of Austin's charming Old Enfield neighborhood!
This cozy first-floor studio is a blend of modern comfort and vintage appeal, offering peaceful ambiance, natural light, and tree-lined views. Step outside to enjoy the shared common spaces - shared with with Cottage B, The Rose - complete with outdoor lounge furniture, a table, chairs, a picnic table, and enchanting string lights providing shaded comfort. Perfectly situated near local dining, shopping, and iconic Austin landmarks, it is an ideal haven for solo travelers or couples seeking a unique getaway.
Discover the vibrant Old Enfield neighborhood, renowned for its walkability and eclectic mix of shops and eateries. From Medici Coffee Roasters to Jeffrey's, Josephine House to Fresh Plus, you'll find some of Austin's most beloved establishments just moments away.
Venture a little further, and you'll find yourself in the heart of downtown Austin, a mere 5-minute drive from our doorstep. And with iconic attractions such as Zilker Park, Lady Bird Lake, Shoal Creek Greenbelt, and the Umlauf Sculpture Garden all within a 10-minute radius, you'll have endless opportunities for outdoor adventures and cultural exploration.

The Neighborhood:
Welcome to Clarksville — one of Austin’s most beloved historic districts and the definition of “old Austin cool.” This pocket neighborhood is small but mighty, filled with colorful bungalows, walkable streets, and a food scene that locals keep close to their hearts. From here, you can ditch the car and actually live like an Austinite.
West Lynn Street: Your neighborhood “main drag.” Grab breakfast tacos at Café Medici, sip a turmeric latte at Josephine House, or treat yourself to fine dining at Jeffrey’s (an Austin institution).
Walkable Eats & Treats: Cipollina, Swedish Hill, and Galaxy Café are all within strolling distance. Don’t skip Nau’s Enfield Drug — part old-school pharmacy, part soda fountain, and all nostalgia.
Lady Bird Lake: Just down the hill. Jog the trail, rent a kayak, or simply watch the sun set behind the skyline.
Downtown Austin: Barely a mile away — close enough for live music, events, and nightlife, but far enough to enjoy quiet evenings under the trees.
Local Flavor: Clarksville is a designated historic district, so you’ll see century-old homes tucked next to new modern builds — a true Austin mash-up.
Getting Around:
Clarksville is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Austin. You can also use Uber and Lyft in Austin. The nearest international airport is Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) 9 miles | 21 km away. We recommend getting around by car.
Other Things to Note:
Guests will need to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation. We provide some bath essentials like soap, shampoo, conditioner, body gel, toilet paper, and some garbage bags. Please note that these are not replenished during your stay. Pack-n-Play travel crib (with sheets) & high chair are available upon request. Daily house cleaning is not available however, if you would like a mid-stay cleaning, one can be arranged for a fee. Please let us know in advance.
We kindly ask all guests to abide by these HOUSE RULES:
- Travelers must be at least 21 years old or older to book.
- No smoking of any kind (tobacco, cannabis, vaping etc.) inside the home, and the use of any recreational drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited.
- No parties, events, or illegal activities are permitted, and no excessive noise, especially between 10:00 pm and 7 am, will be tolerated. Please respect the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.
Interaction with Guests:
It’s self-check-in using a code. All the access codes will be provided to you before your arrival. You’ll have complete privacy during your stay, but we’re available 7 days a week by text message. Should you need anything, just send us a text message!
