"The hosts were very welcoming. We enjoy the coast but not much for the sandy beaches so this was the perfect place for us. The covered porch overlooking the sound was fantastic! Our 2 dogs enjoyed it as much as we did. Enjoyed listening to the water lapping up on the retaining wall of rocks and the breeze was wonderful. My husband enjoyed fishing from the dock. I loved stargazing from the dock. The cottage was decorated wonderfully and was so comfortable. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed every second of it and want to book again in the future. Truly a special and magical place. "

"Caught fish from shore and shared pier with full moon and king tides. Weather was beautiful until windy with approaching coastal low. Well equipped small cottage with beautful views of water, birds, porpoise, sunrise over water and exceptional full harvest moonrise! Relaxing respite from rat race. "

"The weather was fantastic. We had rain on our checkout day but it really didn't impact our trip. Overall, everything was outstanding. The house was very clean (Thank You!), and it was extremely comfortable. We did not see anyone at all in the area with the exception of the lawn care companies. Exactly what we were expecting. The only minor details that I would suggest would be to have more supplies like paper towels, foil and other items that your guest may forget. Only suggesting due to the stores being so far away. We just used what we had available as we really did not want to take the drive. Also, I really didn't mind taking our trash with us because I have a truck. Guest driving a car may feel otherwise. The issue was the waste site was not open on Sunday morning, so I had to bring our trash all the way home with us. We mostly enjoyed the dock/pier for fishing, relaxing and the views were phenomenal.
