"Nice older hotel with a beautiful view of both city and river. Ideal location, walking distance to Nubian Museum and ferries to Elephantine island. Friendly staff, welcoming and providing great recommendations with a smile (thank you Miriam at front desk) We had à la carte dinner- the juiciest tender chicken pieces in shish tawouk and fatty. Daily free breakfast buffet is epic- with fresh food, omelette station and the wide variety of breakfast pastries, yogurts, accompaniments. WiFi could be stronger in the rooms, works fine in the lobby area. "

"Excellent stay at the Tolip Hotel! I stayed for two days over the Christmas holiday and would definitely stay again if I visit in the future. The location is very convenient, the staff are warm and friendly, and the food was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed both my Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day dinner as well.
