"Fantastic cosy room. Lovely shower , comfy bed. The check in is via phone and a key safe .
The room was well stocked and very clean. Main problem is the doors to rooms don’t have quiet closing so when the ignorant other guests go in and out there is constant slamming of doors.
We stayed in the room with exposed beams and it was very well thought out . Good for walking holiday due to location."

"This is my favourite budget-friendly hotel to stay at in the UK. This is my second stay and this time it was during a heatwave, so I really appreciated the a/c. The rooms are well appointed and clean. The showers are powerful, the beds could be more comfortable, but they will do. The hotel is a two minute walk from a massive Waitrose supermarket and the rooms come equipped with a mini fridge to store whatever you need to. "Really helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast very good. Restaurant was worth using, but the prices of wine are atrocious. Stick to the beers. Rooms on the small size but otherwise fine. Worth walking down to the church, lovely river and cricket pitch."
