"Overall, we had an okay stay, but I feel the property was overpriced for what it offered. The location was convenient, around a 30-minute walk or 25-minute bus journey into York city centre. Having on-site parking was a real bonus, as was the nearby supermarket. We also appreciated the baby gate on the stairs, and our children loved sleeping in the bunk beds. However, there were several issues that affected our stay. The property is advertised as a two-bedroom apartment, but in reality it has...

"Great location. Very small but nicely done. Very steep stairs. Missing basics such as bottle opener and coffee pot or maker. No electrics in front bedroom and unable to sort this during our stay. No info on heating. Excellent local cafe."

"Great studio close to the station, quiet, and a quick walk into city centre. Good restaurants on the next street, close to the wall if you want to walk. Bed was comfortable, shower good, and washer easy to use. 100% would stay again."

"A lovely, clean and modern house, with everything we needed for our short stay. A 7 minute cab ride to the centre of York. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were spotlessly clean.Just a heads up - the bathroom is downstairs, which we didn't notice on the listing, so our fault not the host's, but just to mention in case anyone is concerned about having to go downstairs in the night for the loo!Would happily stay again."
