Spacious lobby to hang around .Staff are excellent from bell boys to reception to dining room staff.Coffee plantation on site from which their coffee is sourced. Coffee is amazing and I bought some to take home. Grounds are immaculately maintained and the boys in the garden even plucked some Guavas for me. Beautiful pool. Breakfast was amazing with a wide spread . They have a workshop for people with disabilities at the back from where we bought merchandise . They allowed late check out on request . Every single person went out of their way to help to make our stay memorable. Highly recommend staying here. All my friends thanked me for booking this hotel for our stay in Arusha "

"The location of this lodge is amazing, offering a serene setting to enjoy the wildlife of Tanzania when not on safari. The lodge sits on the edge of a marsh and gave us multiple terrace options (including a private one attached to our room) to do some bird watching. While there , we saw the African fish eagle and Black-and-white cascade hornbill, songbirds too many to count, along with some visiting Vervet monkeys. The staff were among the most attentive and friendly that we have experienced and our room (the Simba house) was everything we could hope for. We highly recommend it if you’re looking for a quieter place to relax. "

"I stayed at Mount Meru Game Lodge before embarking on a 2-week safari and after 24 hours in the air. It was a wonderful place to unwind and sleep well before the trip. The location was convenient, the staff very friendly and helpful, the price was fair, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the setting was special having been a former sanctuary for game animals. Also, there was an onsite massage spa which was excellent."
