"My husband and I had an overall good stay at W Algarve. The location is beautiful, the staff were warm and helpful, and the Whatever/Whenever team was especially responsive. Any request we made was handled promptly, which we really appreciated. That said, the property did not fully feel like a 5-star luxury resort to us. Our ocean-view room was pretty, but the view was more from the side than direct ocean-facing, which was not as clear from the website photos. We also had a shower leak into the toilet area when we checked in. It was fixed the next day, but this is something that ideally should have been caught before arrival. The bathroom is attractive but not very practical, especially the glass layout and mirror placement. Housekeeping was responsive with amenities, but small proactive touches would help. For example, if a guest repeatedly requests shower caps or vanity kits, it would be thoughtful to leave extras during housekeeping rather than requiring another call each day. We also waited quite a while for the buggy to the beach. In the Algarve heat, having more buggies circulating would make the experience much more comfortable. Food was a highlight. We especially loved Paper Moon, and also enjoyed Vino. Overall, the staff and setting were strong, but more attention to small details and personalization would make the experience feel more truly luxurious. We would consider returning, though it would not be our first choice among 5-star Algarve resorts."

"Wonderful hotel, would definitely recommend and stay again! I got a tour of the facilities as soon as I arrived which I loved as it meant I didn’t have to discover things independently and wonder how things worked. The room was gorgeous, just bear in mind the toilet and shower share the same door, I didn’t mind as I was travelling solo. The food was delicious! Everything I ate tasted good from the breakfast to the lunch to the dinner, everything was tasty! The only room for improvement is the WiFi, at times it would drop if I went from my room to the pool for example but it came back minutes after so not the end of the world. I loved staying here so much and would definitely stay here again if coming to Portugal"

"Property was beautiful and very clean. Fabulous location. We were met on arrival with keys and shown around apartment by lovely couple who told us to contact them if we required anything . The host contacted us the day after arrival to ensure all was ok and all communication since booking was excellent . Had a wonderful stay and I highly recommend this apartment"

"Just got back from a lovely 10day vacation at Freya’s Casa do Grego villa . We were a party of two families (adults and teens) travelling in from Canada and the UK and this property gave us all the space we needed ( loved the multiple bathroom options!) is in a beautiful quiet spot with expansive ocean views yet still walkable to a local beach and plenty of restaurant options! We loved having our own space and pool (we opted to have it heated which was a vacation bonus!) The photos truly don’t do this property justice as this home brought Portugal charm but with mordern day needs .Both the host and the property manager were lovely - very responsive!Thank you for a lovely stay!"

"Lovely hotel, very friendly, helpful, kind staff. Rooms, hotel reception, lounge area, restaurant, poolside all very clean & well kept. Great choice for breakfast, no bar as such though.. couldn't come back and sit and have a drink in the evening. We stayed for 4 nights and room cleaned, tidied every day. Thanks for a lovely stay"
