"We were only able to stay one night, but our night at the Vallombrosa vineyard was very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and kind and were gracious to bring me some emergency supplies. Although the property lies in a beautiful setting, it’s important to note that it takes at least 30 minutes to get to Lugano and the lake by car. "Fantastic breakfast! Best ever! You don’t even have to fill your own croissant! There’s everything you could ask for. Wow the cakes! Loved the location: near the station that goes everywhere, bus stops very close and the boat station too and even closer is the funicular station which is an absolute must do! We could see it from our balcony. We came back after a day of sightseeing, very hot and rushed up to the pool which we had to ourselves, nice bar up there too. Room is very comfortable and the coffee machine works well. We loved the friendly restaurant around the corner Panariellos, big pizza to share too."
