"I did not stay there as i felt that it was not secure. They did not have a safe even to keep my passport and valuable things. Not many guests and little far from the market."

"We had a leak in our bathroom causing constant flooding in the bathroom. They tried to repair it by putting tape on it. Took 3 nights for them to finally move us into another room.
The 2nd room had a loose shower head, which fell onto my son's head causing a bump. They came and tightened it slightly and it fell again causing more injury.
They failed to clean our room a few days, which left us having to use dirty towels constantly.
When providing towels, we kept having to call down for them to provide towels as the house cleaning kept taking them and not replacing them.
They did not provide bedding for the sofa bed, when I called for it, I had to set it all up myself.
The hotel was under renovation, they we drilling and banging until 2am for the first 2 nights until I complained.

"The property is spread out. Some of the rooms are in a four plex building, while some are single chalets or duplexes. Dining restaurants are quite far from the majority of rooms, requiring walking or taking a golf cart ride.
The buildings are generally well maintained as are the grounds and landscape. The rooms are spacious but the bathrooms ( relative to the square footage) are small.
The resort has plenty of staff, but there is no sense of prompt customer service. From the room if one calls for service there is no one at the other end to answer or concern. One has to take the trek to the lobby, only to get an apology.
We arranged a ride into Pajim to get there at a specific time time; however, the ride didn't show up on time, and finally did after much complaining. Again all we received was an apology.
The much-touted Caravela was a disappointment. Old and very dark, and the service rather slow. Food was okay, but not befitting the Taj standards.
The sister resort next to the HV has better restaurants, and one in particular - Paper Moon ( Italian Specialty) had the best service offered.
What we didn't appreciate was that kids were allowed into a fine dining restaurant. One already gas to cope with kids in the pool and public spaces. Fine dining restaurants should a reprieve for guests to enjoy meals and drinks in a quite and serene space, following an hectic and chaotic day out and about.
So for couples and those travelling in an adult group be cautious booking."
"Rude poolside staff and our room was very dated. The TV didn't work and we got bitten a number of times by bed bugs.
Definitely wouldn't consider going back again.
Hotel staff need to realize they work for the customer not the other way around
