"I put the hotel name in my SatNav, it took me to a blocked street. I got out, walked around, eventually finding the hotel. At the hotel, check-in was poor, I got my car, came back and was met by somebody who, well, did nothing. I joined a long queue of elderly folk settling their accounts, and once at the front, the guy who did nothing then seeks to check me in - after I have waited.... The room had AC, but could only go as low as 19C, so it took a long time to cool, the room was hot & sticky. So sticky I took my shirt off and sat on the bed with my laptop on my knee to work. I could not get the WiFi to work, so had to hotspot via my cellphone. During this time, my naked back was against the bed's headboard which had a foam/plastic covering. When I moved, this stuck to me, peeling off the headboard, I had to scrape it off my back! When I checked out I spoke of these things to the reception.....they laughed at me."

"We were looking forward to a relaxing break at this hotel. Our room was supposed to be a superior room but was disappointing. When I booked on the hotels.com website it showed the hotel having a pool and this was a chief selling point. There was no pool. The hotel is right on the edge of Pietra Ligure so it's a fair walk to where restaurants and shops are. The hotel restaurant has a limited menu and is quite pricey especially for wine. As we weren't happy overall we cut short our stay. In fairness the breakfast was very good and the views from the restaurant were outstanding "

"The property is well appointed just a short distance away from the bike uplift. It's perfect for couples/groups who aren't after the hustle and bustle and would rather keep to themselves. The cockerel at 4am each day was hard work as a light sleeper being the nearest room to them. No oven or TV just meant we had to be strategic about our shopping. Property was clean and communication with the owner was excellent."
