"This place felt like home ❤️ Kind staff. It was so easy to relax and listen to the wildlife. Breakfast was delicious and the grounds were kept clean and tidy. My children fell absolutely in love with the resident dog and never wanted to leave."

"Very welcoming family run Hotel, very nice breakfast. Fantastic dinner by Chef Randall who also acted as a waiter one evening. A very pleasant place and exceptional owners who were very helpful in all aspects of our stay. We highly recommend this place."

"Amazing staff and absolutely delicious breakfast!! Property was well maintained and welcoming, and the fireplace was lovely in the evening. The rooms are cozy, with spacious modern bathrooms, warm water, and good pressure, which was especially wonderful after a long day of activities. There is limited storage for clothing, just 2 small benches and a few hooks - fine for a solo traveler but could get a bit crowded with 2 people. Special thanks to Jocelyn and Diego for making excellent tour...

"We were only in Monteverde for one night, and this was a great B&B! Spacious and comfortable. Jenny made and served us a fantastic breakfast to start our day, too! Will definitely consider staying there again if and when we visit in the future."

"Beautiful property with lush gardens & the best thermal pools we found in all of La Fortuna. For the price, you get a lot. The pools are exceptional. The location is perfect, just outside of town, but not too far. You can easily take a taxi to the center of town for under $10 dollars. The room are spacious & clean. The breakfast was varied & delicious. Food in Pyramides restaurant is inedible; please skip. Hotel is very stingy with towels. We were 3 people & only received 1 hand & face towel for all 3 of us to share. Rooms have a lot of frosted glass with no blackout shades so expect the sun to wake you up at 6 AM. Take ear plugs & eye mask if you want to sleep in because the chirping birds & light coming in will definitely wake you up early. It is a long walk form the lobby to the rooms, but there are golf carts to take you if needed. I recommend moving in taxis instead of Uber because Ubers are not regulated or inspected for safety. The hotel called an Uber for us that had broken seatbelts & door had to be opened from the outside. We noticed every time we asked for a taxi, staff tried to push for Uber because they have relatives they call to take you. Taxis felt safe & vehicles were better. Overall, pleased with our stay. Definitely recommend this property if you are seeking excellent thermal pools. "
"I understand that we were staying in the rain forest but there weee a lot of ants in the room, especially in the shower. The food, service pool and hot springs were amazing! I would come back hopefully soon.
Btw. Ants gross me out! "
"Great breakfast each day. Lovely property with nice trail. Pool and hot tubs were fabulous. Enjoyed massages at spa. Loved this property and had a great stay!"
"Hotel staff wasn't responsive at all, emailed them and tried hotel.com messaging also but nothing.
Person at check-in was curt and not a bit flexible. Included breakfast was ok. Staff helped with vegetarian options.
Used the thermal pool but no staff around the pool even though it was before closing time. "
