"Lilac Victorian downstairs was very spacious, comfortable and in a great location. We stayed here while exploring the Redwoods. My favorite part of this rental was the kitchen, I loved sitting around the big island while preparing for our busy days and after when it was time to unwind. It was also great to have onsite laundry. Eureka is a very charming town. My favorite grocery store was the North Coast Coop they had a very good selection of groceries. Can’t wait to return, we’ll definitely stay...

"I have stayed in historic hotels before, but this just felt old. The TV was a mess, no type of air-condition and the windows didn't even open. Thankfully it was still May, and we went downstairs and got a small fan. No ceiling fans either... Breakfast I have had better anywhere else I stayed on our vacation."
