Nothing was too much trouble and he was so kind and helpful. Plus- the restaurant had some of the finest food and the most wonderful relaxed atmosphere. "We stayed here to explore Abruzzo. We were happy with the room (family of 5 shared). The owner was very personable. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast every day (especially the coffee!) and had dined in their restaurant one of the evenings. They are super close to a grocery store. We would recommend staying here to explore the nearby area."

"Smack bang in the middle of the old town, situated just in the pedestrianised area. Given the location, there is no parking, but we had no problems finding free parking within a 3 minute walk. (I'd recommend a car so that you can visit outlying towns / villages/ mountains.) The hotel does a good continental breakfast between 7 and 10. L'Aquila has plenty of options for bars, restaurants etc."

"Great place. The room was spacious and opulent. The staff and chef were very helpful. The only drawback, and it was mostly my fault, was finding the road that led to the hotel late at night. "

"The breakfast buffet was varied and beyond the usual 4 item continental type. Eggs and bacon in a warming dish, cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit. There were toastable ham and cheese sandwiches and hot and room temperature pastries and cakes. And of course a coffee bar with a gifted barista. "

"This hotel is in the most scenic location we have stayed in, the staff are really friendly and accommodating the outdoor pool and jacuzzi was fabulous and the onsite restaurant provided some amazing meals. Really looking forward to returning for another visit"

"This property has everything you need , the staff are all kind and helpful, the rooms are very comfortable and have all you require. We were sad to leave. The on site parking was safe and secure. A walk uphill and you are in the old town with a map and walking tour supplied by the Hotel. The breakfast was generous and tasty with helpful staff present. I thoroughly recommend the Hotel and would happily book it again. "
