"I had a really nice stay at Hotel Gracery. It is a great four star option and overall a very comfortable place to be based in Seoul. The hotel felt well looked after and the room turnover was always done properly, which I really appreciated. I also liked the small thoughtful touches, like the eye patches and the bath salts, which made it feel a bit more special and relaxing after long days out. My room was on a higher floor and had a lovely view towards Gwanghwamun Square and the road leading up to it, which I genuinely enjoyed. The reception team were kind and welcoming throughout my stay, and the hotel itself is in a very convenient location. It is well positioned with good transport links and close to most places I wanted to visit, which made getting around very easy. The only downside, and the reason I am giving four stars instead of five, is that the level of English spoken by the staff was not always strong enough. There were a couple of moments where I did not get the answers I was looking for, which was a bit frustrating. For a hotel in such a central and tourist heavy area, I would expect a higher level of English at reception. There was also an occasional unpleasant smell in the bathroom, although I understand this can happen in Seoul due to older piping in some buildings. Overall, it was a cool and convenient place to stay, and I would still recommend it."

"I honestly every single thing which could go wrong went wrong. We checked in early and due to a mixture of being exhausted from travel, a language barrier and the assumption that maybe there was an issue between hotels.com and the hotel I didn’t fully understand they wanted 100% room rate for these extra hours. We felt having the hotel connected to the park would be a fantastic opportunity to head to the park and come and go as you please, you only have 1 free reentry to the park. We wanted to stop for a bite to eat in the hello kitty restaurant, they welcomed us in as we wanted to see what was on offer. We were told we couldn’t eat there which changed from a no to we are full when the restaurant was half empty. There is no bar in the restaurant as an FYI and they are strict on rules that no outside food or drink entry the hotel. The room was dusty which we didn’t realise until after leaving the room and noticing we both stopped being congested as soon as we had some fresh air. My friend had a later flight than myself and wanted to use the amenities after we checked out. She left the sauna to help me bring the luggage down and upon leaving the amenities area was told she would be charged to return. They graciously allowed her back in after complaining Staying here was an extremely expensive mistake for 1 night (priced at 2) and honestly you gain very little staying here over staying literally anywhere else"

"Location was great. Lots of restaurants open late for for those of us who arrive from later flights. Also convenience store on the property open 24/7. Room was very clean with great water pressure. Staff was very helpful with a late checkout ($7.50 USA). Also assisted us in getting a larger taxi to leave the next day."

"It was a good option. It has a coin laundry and a convenience store next door. Very clean and well maintained. Nice staff. Room to leave luggage locked. Great breakfast buffet with many korean and occidental options. Has no room service."
