"Hotel is very clean , large room , and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was better than your basic continental type, Including meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, fruit and breads."

"This property is so lovely. A wonderful and interesting layout, with a really nice pool, a chapel and nice balconies. The morning breakfast is very nice, with a few hot options and lots of fruit, breads and cheeses to round out the choices. It was a nice walk down to the busier part of the area. The only tiny issue is that some of the rooms on the first floor have a musty smell, which we got use to but the second floor doesn’t seem to have the issue ( older parts I suppose vs newer). Also the parking is fantastic here, lots of room in their own parking lot. But the real major bonus was how I was treated after I fell hiking and broke my ankle. Many of the staff ( Anna food and beverage, Andre front desk and many more) did whatever they could to help get me thru a rough time. More pillows, lots of ice, a cane and where to get prescriptions filled. I will never forget how kind and caring everyone was during a rough time. I recommend staying here and we will be back ourselves. ❤️"

"Impressive attention to detail. Rooms are small yet comfortable. They are well laid out and have all the amenities. Staff is attentive, friendly and helpful. Beautiful interior design throughout. Excellent breakfast buffet plus cooked to order options. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious too. Pool area (indoor and out) is small, quiet and intimate. There is only room for a few chaise lounges so they may not always be available. The hotel is designed so you never have to venture out, but you don't want to miss walking the streets of beautiful Angro do Heroismo."

"This hotel was an absolute gem! Centrally located with fantastic access to the old town and plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. The facilities were amazing, with the pool right on our doorstep — perfect for cooling down and relaxing in the evenings. Breakfast was superb, with a fantastic selection from the buffet as well as freshly cooked options available on request. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the whole hotel felt luxurious and decadent — such a treat! Parking was also really easy, with plenty of spaces available in the square for just a couple of euros a night. We absolutely loved our stay and would happily return."

"Beautiful view and great service. However, our room wasn’t the cleanest (found dirt on floors and hair in the shower). I did leave feedback upon checking in but no one got back to me. Excellent location if you’re accessing the marina to catch a ferry to other islands. Nice breakfast offered in the morning complete with plant-based options, which was appreciated."

"This hotel is a standout in the area. Perfect location, easy and accessible parking, in-house dining, and the decor was outstanding. Room was spacious, had everything we could need for our stay. Our one issue was the same as many have noted in reviewes: the air conditioners don't seem to really work. The one in the bedroom seemed to sort of work, but definitely never reached the set temperatures, so we ensured we kept the bedroom door closed at all times to give it the best chance. The air conditioner in the living area responsible for the rest of the apartment definitely didn't do anything besides blowing room temperature air. At some points, it was better to open the patio door for the less warm outside air. This should definitely be looked into as it was pretty uncomfortable."

"Check-in was easy. Our cabin was clean and quite cozy. Everyone was friendly and the coffee cabana on the property had great coffee, options for breakfast, or an evening desert. From our porch or the hammocks we enjoyed the visits from the cats, ducks, and chickens. Thank you for a wonderfully relaxing stay."
