"The meals were very good. The bedroom was decorated in a charming way with lovely old Chinese wardrobe and a book case full of classics. The grounds and olive groves were amazing. The house was full of old artefacts and beautiful furnishings. It was a pity that the swimming pool was not open."

"The room was too hot for a comfortable sleep. After the first night we were told that they would check to see about turning the heat off and the air on. We weren’t offered a fan to help sleep or any other help. Upon checkout we were told that by law, they couldn’t turn on the air conditioning until April 20. We checked out on April 18. The breakfast buffet was horrible. We tried it the first day and never went back. The rooftop terrace was closed for the season, even though the weather was warm. We would have enjoyed sitting there. The location was great and we loved the town. The hotel was on the verge of being dated and neglected. The management was unwilling to offer any help or compensation for our discomfort. We suggested they waive the parking fee. We never even received an apology for the sleepless nights."

"It's an ok hotel. A bit run down. It's cheap and clean with a good breakfast so that's a positive. But if you do not have a car you have to rely of the rare city bus to take you to a restaurant - closest of which is about 4km away. There is a restaurant on premises but it's very limited. "
