"This is an historic but modern building in a great location to see the sights of Old Town and also close to excellent restaurants. The buffet breakfast is really good with a big variety of food. The standard rooms are very small although the bathroom is fine. But with full days of sightseeing, not really necessary to have a big room."

"Heart of the city, right off the main metro line. Front desk and bar staff were friendly and helpful. Maid service was horrible. Took a tip first day and it only seemed to build contempt for us. Not at all a safe neighborhood, pick pockets routinely in handcuffs on the street, tons of beggers, and homeless. Don't bring kids unless they want to check out the strip club next door. Just know what you're going into and you'll be fine."

"We just stayed in this hotel recently. The rooms were big with great staff. However 3 things we didn’t like. First, the location is close to the city center however it was in a lower class zone. 2nd, the hotel is more on the old side, worn down with old amenities . Last, the A/C was working but not efficient and the room was extremely hot. We had to ask for a fan. We faced the same problem with another room in the reservation. If you like cold rooms, don’t stay in this hotel especially during Summer"
