Place was okay for one night to sleep. The couple that tends to the property were nice but the place was not clean and needed a lot of work. Bed was comfy though and it was quiet. I was worried about my car, since the area is a little rough.

I thought I crossed the River Styx and entered Hell. We arrived at 11:30 pm and they didn’t know we had a reservation. They told us to wait in our car until ready. This was in anchorage Alaska with temps in the teens and falling. After 20 minutes we called and they said they need another 15 minutes. We came back around 1:15 am and no answer. We left and then they sent us a msg at 1:32 am that our room was ready. Came back to find filth, cold room, holes in walls and ceilings, and the only bathroom had a tub filled with filthy water. DO NOT STAY HERE. Further Expedia should be held liable for having this place on their site. I’m trying to get my money back but have been disconnected TWICE while trying to reach Expedia.

I liked the comfortable mattress and pillows. I thought this property was not ready to host guests as there were no written instructions; No Toiletries; Limited linens; room 3 smelled of cigarette smoke; room 1 had a broken bed frame & the door didn’t lock properly. No coffee for guests. The staff asked that I wait outside upon arriving at 6:26pm. Upon entering after standing outside, the main shared areas smelled of vomit and was covered in dirty and leaves (with many leaves coming out of the opened coat closet. Other than a bed and hot water for a shower (the shower head was broken), I would not recommend this property. I’ve stayed at some interesting places, but this on would not be a repeat for me and my family.
