"Remodeled, clean rooms. Nice linens. Pleasant staff. Walls aren't to noise proof. Morning breakfast very plain and highly processed food. The biggest negative is that they charge you $15 for parking. Pretty cheesy. "

"If you want to lounge at the beach all day, stay at one of the beach hotels, but if you want to be in the thick of things, with dozens of shops, restaurants, bars, and night life, there's absolutely no place better than Florida House. It's a historic Inn, and literally on the walking and trolley tours as a place of interest on the island. The place is old, it's true, and so maybe not up to snuff on all the amenities you've come to expect (takes a while for the water to heat up, floor is a little crooked, internet TV only), but it's also beautiful, and if you're like me and the wife, the character of the place MORE than makes up for these minor shortcomings. There's live music next door every night, but they shut it down promptly at 10 (if you've got young kiddos, or you're an early-to-bed person, this may not be for you). We had a three minute walk to everywhere, had a great time, and special shout out to Julie, who ran her ass off to make sure we had everything we needed (including making me meat-free quiches and upgrading us to a king bed room). We'll never stay anywhere else, for sure!"

"Our room ac not on or fridge said they was on off season so the pool cloded no happy our as advertised and.breakfast till 9 am seemed to close by 845? Had to pay for parking not advertised and were bonvoy member very disappointed "

"Our experience at the Omni was very relaxing and easy to navigate. It is a great place to park the car and stay for a week without getting in the car again or easy to head to the historic downtown area for excellent food and shopping."

"Nice location and very clean and quiet property. We would stay there again, which is high praise because we are fussy old people! If you're looking for a beach vacation this is the wrong property, as it is not walkable to the beach. It is however only a couple of blocks from the main downtown area which has all the restaurants, bars and entertainment. "

"Nice view of ocean from small balcony on the third level. Breakfast was well-prepared with a good variety over our two mornings. Nice touch with 24-hour hot beverage machine with lots of coffe, etc. choices. Beach out front is wide and flat, perfect for all beach-goers. Staff was very nice and property was very clean and maintained. Well done! This was our first time to Amelia Island. We plan to return and would certainly stay again at the Amelia Seaside Inn!"

"Excellent staff. Attentive to detail. Hotel is not a Ritz Carlton. Missing all out service and a facilities you pay for. Lobby bar closed until 3pm, gourmet restaurant closed Sunday and monday. No service outside areas. Not a Ritz when you have to buy a bottle of wine and plastic cups to enjoy overlooking the ocean."

"Location was great just 1 block from the beach, easy walk. It was cold when we went so the pool wasn't used. The beds were comfy BUT there was dog hair all over the couch. We had to ask for a blanket to cover it so we could sit down surprisingly they never offered to clean or change our room. Other than that it was nice."
