Situated on Grove Farm in the beautiful Stock Valley, Grove Farm is a stunning 160-acre setting that feels a million miles from anywhere, yet Ambleside is close by with an excellent choice of shops, bars and restaurants.


This welcoming cottage offers an uplifting mix of peace, views and easy access to the wider Lake District. Set on a 160-acre farm with a handful of other lovely holiday cottages, you can walk out your door to the spectacular Stock Ghyll Force (0.8 miles) or set off on scenic trails to Wansfell Pike (1.5 miles) and Loughrigg Fell (4.5 miles). Ambleside (1.5 miles) boasts a variety of shops and eateries, along with a local art gallery and independent cinema. From here, you can explore the Roman fort or hop on a picturesque lake cruise on Lake Windermere, stopping at Windermere or stepping off to explore other lakeside walks.


Bursting with rustic character, this reverse-level cottage has been designed to make the most of the breathtaking views. Upon entering the property, head upstairs to the main living spaces where original wooden beams and exposed slate walls offer a warm, traditional feel. Sink into the comfortable seating, with the wood burner crackling in the corner, to watch TV or gaze out across the fells. When everyone grows hungry, head into the adjacent kitchen/diner where lovely wooden cabinets and a dining table seat three provide a comfortable space to cook, eat and chat together. When it's time for bed, go downstairs to find a cosy family room with a king-size and a single bed, along with a contemporary en-suite bathroom.


Outside, you'll have access to a shared patio area with picnic tables and far-reaching views. There's free access to a fitness training pool and sauna, which can be reserved for private sessions, along with private parking for one car.
