"Quaysiders resort is an apartment/hotel right by the upper side of Lake Windermere in Ambleside. It is in an absolutely perfect location close to the lake, shops, restaurants. "The fell rooms was an absolutely stunning place to stay in Ambleside. The rooms were incredible, so clean and well thought out. The little extras such as biscuits, a fan in the room and heated towel rails made such a positive difference in our experience. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and we really enjoyed our stay here."

"Loved the place even stayed an extra night. Will definitely be back. Food is amazing."

"Pros - good location. Short walk into town. Room clean, modern & spacious. Self check in with good clear instruction prior to arrival. Cons - Car park full so had to pay for parking on car park next door. No plates at breakfast only cardboard dishes which made it difficult to butter toast as the bread wouldn't fit in the dish. Would definately stay here again though & just maybe arrive earlier to get a parking space."
