"Casa Mao was an amazing stay! Very unique property, friendly staff, clean rooms, and great views. It was also a great value for the price even with a hike up the stairs. Would recommend!"

"Super convenient location, clean room not modern but super charming style apartment. Andrea is great as a host and the price is reasonable considering the location. "

"It's a bit tricky to find but once you do, you're in for a treat. The suite was large with breathtaking views and it's not in the hustle bustle part of the city. You can still easily walk to shopping and beaches. We loved the suite and the staff and included breakfast were amazing."

"It was a smaller scale, cozy hotel outside of Amalfi. More on the vintage side. The included breakfast was amazing! Great selection, fresh and friendly staff! The view was amazing as well. The lemoncello at dinner was excellent, but the dinner itself was very disappointing. We had four meals and they were all simply bad! Did not return for more dinners.
The bus stop is right at the door of the hotel, which is nice. If the bus comes and stops. Very unpunctual! There is small but nicely secluded beach within 10-15 min walk. Be ready to shed some money there. It’s very expensive! 100€ for a family of 4 for lounge chairs alone!
Overall great experience and beautiful memories made!"
"Incredibly wonderful stay! We really enjoyed ourselves in Amalfi much because of our stay at Piazza Vitagliano! The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful, especially Llenia, Paola, and Angelo! Can not say enough about their kind efforts throughout. The hotel itself is beautiful with the utmost incredible view of the sea! Stairs are part of the experience, so expect that; although, I do not think you can stay anywhere in Amalfi without stairs. Angelo carried ALL of our luggage up the stairs for us. They build that in as a courtesy. Wonderful!"
"My husband and I stayed four nights here in a standard room. Some of the pros were the view, free breakfast, and the pool. However, the bed was very uncomfortable which made it very hard to sleep, the walls in the hotel room are so thin you can hear every conversation your neighbors are having, we heard someone phone alarm go off every day at 7am, the free shuttle was nice if you booked early otherwise the time slots fill up fast and the time slots are very limited, one time slot we pre booked for when we went outside to get on the shuttle they allowed guests who didn’t have a reservation on, leaving my husband and I to squeeze into one seat which felt very unsafe especially how dangerous the roads are and when we asked the staff about it there got annoyed and said you are just going to have to squeeze in this time. The restaurant and food at the hotel was very expensive, 14 euro for a canned beer from the fridge inside the hotel room and if you order room service they charge you 20 euro fee. If I went back to Amalfi I would stay some place else, this wasn’t worth the money."
"This is a hotel that we will absolutely book again!! The views were breathtaking, the rooms were amazing, breakfast was perfection, and the staff made the whole experience unforgettable. :)"
"Our stay here was wonderful! Right in the middle of town, high above the hustle and bustle of the busy streets of Amalfi. Just steps from your door are gorgeous views and tons of food options. When we arrived, the staff welcomed us like family and was super helpful the whole time. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. They went above and beyond and were so wonderful. The bed was comfortable, and the room was super clean. The mini fridge was well stocked with any drinks we could need and everything was decorated. Very lovely."
"A wonderful stay in the centre of Amalfi. This was the second time we have stayed at Hotel Floridiana and it was just as great as the first time. The hotel is in a great location just a minute or so from the main square of Amalfi. The room was spacious and spotless, the breakfast was excellent in a beautiful room and the rooftop terrace is an excellent place to chill out with a great view of the Duomo and its bell tower (shame about the scaffolding currently but that will save the tower for years to come). Everyone working here, including Agnese and Beatrice (apologies for any misspelling!) were wonderful and helpful. We loved our stay here and would happily stay agin."
