"Aristieta is located in a beautiful, quiet, bucolic area of Kanpantxu, near Gernika. It is part of an organic farmstead operated by Alex and his wife, the hosts. Their home and farmhouse has been lovingly restored by their family and friends and is a unique property in every sense of the word. We enjoyed our stay very much, and especially, our spacious room with a magnificent view of the surroundings. The breakfasts were simple and tasty. Coffee was great! "The room was clean but small. Suitable for a single night stay and close to the airport. All staff very friendly - especially the shuttle bus drivers. Great lobby with lounges, chairs, tv and refreshments. Don’t bother with the little restaurant beside the hotel - food and staff not great. Would recommend for a quick stay before flying."

"Hotel is super convenient for access to the airport and has a free shuttle to the airport starting at 5 am. Other than that, there is very little reason to stay here. Very utilitarian building and rooms. Not much in terms of ammenities. Staff were very helpful."

"Atmospheric quirky hotel. Retains convent feel. Nice staff; good restaurant at night. Note it doesn’t do breakfast but good cafe nearby. No reception before noon. Good base for Bilbao - on commuter line to central station , one hour trip with regular trains ."

"The place served its purpose, but it is not new. Also, I was not notified they would not be there after a certain time. Everything was closed when I arrived and I was in a panick because I didnt have wifi. Luckily a hotel guest came out when I was trying to figure out what to do and he called the emergency number. I had to drive to another location to check in before driving back. It was quiet though, and had a nice view from my window (photo attached)"
