It's a little gloomier inside photos suggest with only limited natural light. "We had a great stay here - house was beautiful and well equipped and the remoteness and private pool were great for a relaxing stay in Crete. While you are about 20 mins outside of Chania it served as a good base for all of the western beaches and attractions while still close enough to Chania for dinners and exploring. "This was the perfect place to stay. It was quiet but not empty with the pool bar helping all of your needs. The staff are a nice family and so helpful. I fell ill one night and the amazing man behind the pool bar brought me aspirin and got his father to bring a thermometer. The balcony was great for our cheap date night and the kids around the pool loves the pool toys almost as much as my boyfriend did."

"Great stay at Hotel Kriti! The hotel and room were clean, breakfast was yummy, and the staff was wonderful. The pool was nice, too - a good place to relax and cool off. The location was good - beach, Old Town, and the harbor all within walking range. The room was very quiet - almost seemed soundproof. Would definitely stay at Hotel Kriti again."
