"Such a beautiful and quiet place! The staff were wonderful and helpful. Supper was delicious local specialties. Breakfast was great with custom eggs and lots of selection. Their wine is excellent! We would totally recommend staying at this small, family run Quinta."

"Friendly and very helpful staff."

"Notre séjour s’est bien déroulé. La chambre était propre et l’hôtel est très bien située. Le personnel d’accueil était vraiment gentil et courtois . Nous étions entre 2 saisons et l’air climatisé avait fait place au chauffage et l’air climatisé aurait été la bien venue. Dans le l’ensemble un excellent endroit"

"Our stay at Casa de Casal de Loivos exceeded our expectations. The Douro Valley views are breathtaking, especially from the terrace right outside our door while enjoying a glass of Portuguese wine. We enjoyed delicious, authentic Portuguese dinners both evenings, served family-style around a communal table with eight other guests. Sharing wonderful food, wine, and conversation with travellers from around the world made for a truly memorable dining experience. Bernardo and Paulo’s excellent wine...

"Les installations sont tout simplement idéales. Site enchanteur, vu magnifique et ambiance reposante. On se sent littéralement en vacances dans un grand hôtel. Bravo!!"

"Everything was great except the shower was a little annoying since you had to press every 45 seconds or so because it would turn off automatically. The breakfast wasn’t much of a breakfast ham and cheese, bread and cereal. Other than that the staff was friendly it was clean and it was in a cute little village."

"Our stay at Quinta de la Rosa was absolutely wonderful! The beautiful views everywhere you turn, the delicious locally inspired continental breakfast, and Patricia’s fantastic tasting tour made the experience truly special. Dinner each night was a culinary joy with the knowledgeable wait-staff. Everything was charming, welcoming, and memorable - a perfect blend of tradition and modern. A genuine gem in the Douro Valley that we would happily recommend and return to!"

"Beautiful property immersed in nature. The views, architecture, pool and plants were stunning. Food at the restaurant was excellent. A really unique stay."

"The property is extraordinary. The rooms are large, comfortable, and very tastefully decorated. The view of the Duoro Valley from our room and from the entire property really are magical. It would be hard to imagine a more beautiful setting. The common kitchen, with Honor Bar, is a great convenience. The dining room is tastefully austere ( some quiet background music would warm things up). Throughout the property are many comfortable private areas to relax both inside and out. The beautiful...
