"First time at Oxford although we come to Graton quite a few times each year. Our Oct evening was perfect weather to walk to Graton both ways. It was great and a bright big moon! We almost won back as much as we brought to gamble - better than losing! Oxford breakfast was EXCELLENT in a Sunday. Prefer bacon over sausage and the oatmeal was too watery, but no complaints here. The ROOM: very good! Bed comfy, spacious room, clean, large bath with walk-in shower and deep tub. AC temp was perfect. Never had to change it. Was so happy that there was a “continuous fan” button to drown out the noise. It never shut off. Yay! Was worried about seeing a tattered sofa from reviews. Ours looked brand new. Yay! Extras that were a surprise- a CEILING LIGHT!! Make-up removing cloth, pump liquid soap (no unwrapping a tiny bar and nowhere to lay it when used), a shelf over the AC for additional space (genius!), a large useful coffee table. As always- we only select hotels with a pool and coffee maker/fridge/microwave. These were nice. Besides that other extras (luggage rack, safe, closet with hangers, extra blanket/pillow), everything was really good. The pool was nice and the pool towels, plenty of comfy loungers, nearby restroom, outdoor shower, although the water was a bit chilly (but also mid Oct) but clean. At checkin we asked for a “quiet” room above everyone and near the elevator but not too close. We got everything except noisy neighbors w/loud kids. STAY HERE! 👊"
