"We were looking for a relaxing, comfortable place to stay away from crowds and close to nature. We found it here. The cabin was just secluded enough. It was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. We were able to sit outside under the covered deck and enjoy the water view, deer and even a fox while the frogs chirped. The hot tub was a delight! The hosts were readily available and communicated well. We will definitely rebook!"

15. Rock Ridge

Buncombe

"Our stay at Rock Ridge was a perfect family getaway. Both the location and the property are beautiful! The grounds are well-maintained and extensive and we enjoyed the occasional glimpses of local wildlife such as beavers, hawks, and migrating birds. We spent each evening of our stay stargazing on the large front balcony on the comfortable deck chairs. The location is convenient to Giant City and Fern Clyffe as well as local wineries. We are already looking for an opportunity to come back! "
