تفاصيل مكان الإقامة

Private Pool, Private Location, Free Wifi, All Day Sunbathing in private garden

  • The villa is in a lovely Cypriot village, rural enough to be a lovely relaxing break, but within 15 minutes of each of the town of Larnaca, the coast & the airport to give access to all that is needed. We fell in love with the area many years ago and this is our second home which one day will be hopefully our main home. The whole village is within easy walking distance. The 4-bedroom villa easily sleeps 8 persons. It has a sheltered private pool, and as the back of the house is south facing, the pool & extended sundeck get the sun from early in the morning to its very last rays as it goes down. It is fully equipped to a very high standard with TV, DVD and WIFI internet access. The whole villa has remote controlled air-conditioning as well as ceiling fans in every room. There is also a car port which can be used for day time shelter from the sun, but also is often used for evening dining, where citronella candles can be used to ward off any insects. 2 minutes walk away a children's playground. A 10 minute drive will take you to the nearest beach. Whether you want to laze by the pool or discover the delights of Cyprus there is plenty to see and do for everyone; visiting historical sites, amazing flora & fuana, bird watching (Cyprus is particularly well known for), diving at the world renowned Zenobia wreck off of Larnaca, walking in the Troodos mountains, cycling, horse riding, water sports & much much more.

Above all, the food and the Cypriot welcome are amazing, and everything is great value. We know you will have an amazing holiday on this beautiful island.

Beautiful Alethriko

Great Villa, with everything you need. Very clean, great pool, comfy beds and easy to contact the owner and their local (English speaking) agent. Alethriko is a lovely peaceful traditional Cypriot village with two great taverners and supermarkets in the next village. Overall a great stay.

Pleasant house and surroundings

The property was clean, well-stocked with cleaning materials and tea and coffee, etc. It was just as described, swimming pool, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms plus a downstairs toilet which was very handy. Due to its location, the tavernas and cafes nearby were all reasonably priced compared with tourist rates downtown.

Lovely, spacious villa in a quiet residential area. Pool area great for relaxing during the day. We liked being able to sit out in the evenings with a Keo beer and watch the stars! Alethriko is great for bird watching, and there are lots of walks across the hills with fantastic views. Phill was really helpful and available if we had any issues. We also had a local contact if necessary, but we didn’t, as we had everything we needed. Ceiling fans in the rooms a big bonus as we then didn’t need to use the air conditioning!

This house is brilliant. From start to finish we had a great holiday. Directions and detailed arrival day instructions sent well in advance. Key in lock box. Key holder lives close by I had no need to call on him. I brought my own washing tabs and dishwasher tabs but there were some in the cupboards. Also there was tea coffee spices etc to start the holiday. I replaced any I used. The kitchen is fully stocked with all sorts of cooking essentials, plates, cups, glasses, etc We were never left wanting. We were able to have lovely family dinners around the outside table. The house was very spacious. Big wardrobes in all the bedrooms with one en suite. Ample hot water. Air con was handy but the room fans did a good enough job at night. I kept the blinds down during the day to keep the rooms cool. The outdoor area was relaxing with shaded areas. Good quality table and chairs with sun loungers. The pool was an ample size for swimming. We brought some lilos and left them in the shed for the next guests. Looks like others had done the same. The house is in a residential area. It is 5 mins from the main motorway for travelling to different areas around Cyprus. I was able to visit the mountains and the west and east of the island easily. Lots of beautiful beaches within driving range. If you are thinking about booking this house for your holiday, it will not disappoint.

Spring in Cyprus

We found the house well presented and immaculately clean. Being at the end of a cul-de-sac it was quiet and there was no traffic. The host communicated with us regularly and was happy to answer any questions we had. He also asked for and accepted any suggestions we had to offer to improve our stay.e was no traffic. The pool received diligent maintenance twice a week and the manager of the villa responded quickly to any difficulties we had. The kitchen was exceptionally equipped with appliances, tools and pantry basics. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend it.

Het incheckproces ging prime. Keukenfaciliteiten waren uitstekend. Keukenaccessoires ruim voldoende.

Lovely, well equipped villa

I was travelling with my three-year old son, husband and parents. We had to travel to Cyprus at short notice to see family and Phill and John were very accommodating in getting the villa ready for us. The villa was lovely and clean and well equipped with everything we needed during our stay. It is the end villa and felt quite private and quiet which we liked. The swimming pool and outdoor area was great and my three-year old loved going in for a daily swim. There was also a little playground opposite the villa with a swing and slide which got plenty of use. We had a car and the villa was in a convenient location for us with a less than 15 minute drive to the airport, 15 minutes to Mazatos and 15-20 minutes to Larnaca. Communication was good, and Phill and John were very helpful in answering any questions we had. We had an evening flight on the day of departure and Phill kindly allowed a later check-out time which was very much appreciated. Thanks for providing a great place to stay! We hope to be back in the future.

Beautiful, quiet villa with everything you need

We had a wonderful time staying at the Silk Tree villa. Phill made sure we had all the information we needed in and around the house. The villa was spotless and included all the supplies to allow us to enjoy our stay, whether we wanted to laze by the pool or go exploring Larnaca and the rest of Cyprus (it even included a portable cooler for beach trips). There were a LOT of resources in the house for guests, including brochures, guidebooks and even a Greek phrasebook!! The home's information booklet included many recommendations for restaurants and other services in the area. Phill was also available by text for any questions. My family and I really loved the pool and having our evening meals on the outdoor dining table. The jasmine bush next to the pool would enchant us with its fragrance in the evenings while we swam or just hung out having drinks. All in all, every member of my family (3 generations) had a fabulous time! I highly recommend staying at Phill's Silk Tree villa and look forward to staying there again in the future. Thanks, Phill!!!

Highly recommend.

Just spent the perfect week at this very clean, spacious and well maintained villa that had everything that was needed for our self catering holiday. We were given very clear directions on how to get there along with photos of all the junctions which were very helpful. Alethriko is a very quiet village which was perfect for us and we hired a car so that we could explore the island. There is a supermarket, bakery and petrol station near by and it wasn't far to the bustling town of Larnaca. Communication from the owner was excellent and I highly recommend spending your holiday here.

Superb

We had a lovely family holiday at this superb villa. Only 15 mins from Larnaca Airport in a lovely unspoilt part of Cyprus. Quiet location with a few typical Cypriot restaurants nearby. The villa had everything we needed and is of a high standard. We were very impressed with the amount of equipment in the kitchen. WiFi was a bonus to look up places to visit. Mike the manager was extremely helpful and recommended some lovely places to eat. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa.
