"Old Hall was a beautiful building from the outside, gardens and paths could have been a little more tidy with a bit more TLC. Our room was spacious but dreadfully dirty with Cobwebs on the ceiling, lots of dust on the skirting boards. Pillow case was dreadful with horrible black marks on which was replaced on request but housekeeping should have seen this for sure. Bath / Shower very dated with rusty mechanism for the plug/water system. Protective cover on water pressure tap came off in my hand...

"The atmosphere of this home is a bit more beautiful than the description. It is an easy walk to the town center and its Shakespearean dominance. Later in the day and back in the patio with the vast open space of the race track, one can get the best sound of silence possible, with the beautiful scene and distant figures having their daily stroll."

Although it is in the pedestrian-friendly walking district, parking was still easy and convenient. And the location is great for exploring town. "The cottage was exceptionably clean and looked exactly as advertised. The views are fabulous as is the wildlife and surrounding area. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. Loved the patio doors in the living area and having so many opening windows throughout. Great powerful shower too. The hosts, live on the working farm and are all lovely and friendly. It was lovely waking up to the sound of the dawn virus and the steep bleating. Would definitely recommend this...
