Very nice hotel 5 min walk into albufeira square, bit of a steep hill to get back but not too bad.
Staff extremely helpful when I moved from the first hotel I'd booked (it was awful)
Room very clean, shower good although I prefer a cubicle it was ok over the narrow bath. Air-conditioning very good.
Breakfast continental but good.

The location is great, close to the beach and restaurants and shops. That was the best thing about this hotel. Staff was very nice, pretty clean. However, our few complaints were we heard doors slamming all hours of the night, so they need to fixed there doors to not slam. Our door did not do that. You can also hear noise all around, the walls I guess are quite thin. Also, our closet door was broken, so we could not open or close it, to use the closet, and you have to pay to use the safe, which I've never seen anywhere before. So there's both positive and negative.
Reception manager Fernando was great! Helpful n friendly. Basic budget hotel. Roof top pool was great. Breakfast could be improved with beans n sausages. The curtains in our room could of been better blackout as sun came through early n bright. But fab location!

Staff is very nice. Free parking available on the same street and good walking distance to restaurants, nearby shops and the beach. Wifi, shower, fridge, air conditioning and outlets work well. The rooftop pool is a really great amenity with chairs and umbrellas. Rooms are a bit dated and run down like most budget-friendly European beach town spots, but it doesn’t affect the overall stay. Pool and beach towels are not provided, and the room safe costs $1.50 per day.
Spent 3 nights at Hotel Colina. Warm friendly welcome when we arrived with a quick and easy check in. Room was clean, air-con worked well. Very comfortable bed! We spent a few hours by the pool which was lovely and quiet. Breakfast had a good variety. The location was perfect. The pub next door was fairly quiet and you could play pool and darts. Walk down the hill and you have shops and restaurants. You are close to the busy nightlife and the tunnel leading to the beach.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice and simple with some healthy options. There's a nice swimming pool on the rooftop and the location was great. Easily get to the beach within 5 minutes of walking.
Unfortunately we got unlucky with our room, we got a bottom room with view onto the street. The walls are paper thin and can hear other guests showering and any cars going by but overall its quiet enough at night. The beds are extremely uncomfortable, spring mattresses. The initial walk-in to the room, we got hit by a strong, bad smell from the bathroom, possibly smelled like the sewers. Disgusting. Wouldn't recommend staying for longer than 3 nights with that smell.
But other than that, the hotel was fine and we enjoyed our stay.

Great location
Location excellent!!
Welcoming bellow 0!! Old very very rude women Her greeting was check in at 4 It was just 3pm I had no issues with this I then asked where can we park Again so so rude she replied on the street I said I understand but there is nothing so where else can we park near by ?? She got very angry and just said on street By now I had enough and just left We later found out there was a park house near by She could have explained this Treat others the way you want to be treated !!! With respect!!!
Location was great rooms clean and typical 3 star can’t fault it Basically the women’s welcome was just unfortunately very bad
Lovely little hotel tucked up side street minutes from the square but far enough away to not be disturbed by night life noise. The hotel is a little dated but it was spotless the water was hot air con and WiFi was excellent. Lovely little pool on the roof with a few sunbeds you can basically do what you want. Breakfast is very basic it’s fine for me as I don’t really do breakfast but if you like your traditional fry up then there are plenty of restaurants in the square to chose from. We hired a car and parking was tight near the hotel but at the top of the road was two large carparks. The owners fernando and his wife are lovely and helpful I will be returning later in the year. Good restaurants are ones in the square and through the tunnel to catch the little train go to the end of the beach and go up the escalators the train stop it at the top. They do take cards.
It was spotlessly clean.
The rooftop pool was lovely
It is a basic hotel near the main town.
Up a bit of a bit of a hill. Wear sensible shoes as all the streets are cobbled and some a bit slippy
Honestly I hated my stay here. Every single night we had loud kids partying and yelling all night and they terrorized the rooftop pool during the day. They never answer the phone at the front desk so I had to get out of bed to complain. One night someone drunkenly tried entering our room and the staff actually let them in while I was asleep! It was horrifying!
As for the hotel it’s up a huge hill so lots of incline walking. Also a pain trying to call a cab up there. Hotel is very outdated. And wow the beds were uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on the floor. We asked for mattress toppers and they only gave us one and gave sass when we specifically asked for two. Toppers were not much better.
I absolutely would not stay here again. Horrible experience and I had to complain during my stay multiple times to the hotel staff and Expedia.
Stayed at CDM before and it is still a clean, comfortable and pleasant hotel with great staff and an ideal location.
Will be booking again next time I’m in Albufeira
Nice staff but very dirty and smelly and noisy. Small rooms and uncomfortable bed.

Honest 3 Star Hotel
The hotel is a basic 3 star hotel conveniently situated to the town centre. The staff speak reasonable English.
The room was basic but did have air con and a small fridge. There is a small swimming pool on the roof with 8 or so sun loungers.
Breakfast is a bit non plus but edible.
4 stars rather than 5 as one day we had no hot water in the morning.
Old property, visible signs of wear, including spots and rust everywhere in the bathroom. Safe deposit box requires a key. AC worked well and location is good.
Just above the crazy fray of the town proper up a small 2 block hill. Great views from the roof top pool terrace! Room was comfy (although mattresses are the typical Portuguese spring hard beds that poke you in your sleep). The room was very good, water pressure in shower was good! Fridge in room was a nice bonus. Breakfast was underwhelming, but cheap and handy so there is that. Would stay again- although Albuferia is not exactly up our alley, it was a funny town to see once ;)

Nice but can be noisy
I moved to this hotel to get away from the noise at another hotel that was in the center. Unfortunately, they put me into the noisiest room in the hotel. I had to wear earplugs as there was a lot of noise outside my window.
