"Realizing this was one of the more inexpensive options in town, the more recent reviews were all positive, so we went for it. The two staff folks we met were very nice. We did not use any of the amenities. The breakfast was sparse. No fruit juice, no meats, nothing warm. The furnishings have definitely seen better days. Between the 2 rooms we reserved, one had just warm water in the shower.The other didn't have any warm water at all. "

"This property is a stand alone carriage house. Rustic and aesthetically pleasing from the outside. The pictures on the site are accurate as far as the inside space. We ran into some issues with the heating (the small gas fireplace was the primary source of heat and didn’t do well heating the large space downstairs or upstairs. The pilot light went out more than ones and we had to resort to A small electric heater in the bedroom and living room that did not do the job. It appeared that this rental wasn’t used all winter or at least wasn’t cleaned before we arrived. The fields and sunsets were beautiful that being said the bitter cold country setting surely drew cold field mice inside for warmth throughout the winter, there was evidence of that.as The kitchen gas stove was great though not cleaned prior to arrival. Advise that you bring your own bath gel and shampoo. It’s a great space and probably more appealing in the summer for a family. It has great potential. The host was responsive. "

"Much needed family retreat! We lost our daughter-in-law last year, so we postponed our family vacation until this year. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. It was a great time of healing and renewal. The house is charming, but a little drafty. Plenty of rooms for our large family. We had a bit of trouble getting in on the first day (not the fault of the host), but Vasili was very responsive and we figured out the problem. Beautiful location!"

"the house was fine no issues and we only were there in the evenings and for breakfast only issue would be to have the driveway and parking area cleaned up a little better for parking and unloading but overall a thumbs up thank you "

"We had a very good family vacation. House and bedrooms fit was well. We were very appreciative you took care of the bees. The air conditioning on the one side of the house needs to be addressed. House was 77 78 eventually came down later in the evening. The pool was fantastic and very well maintained. Thank you very much"

"Tim and Kim were great hosts and their house was lovely. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as the fire pit. Very easy to get to the horse races and downtown as well. would love to stay there again in the future. "
