"The room had an incredible view and the staff were very helpful. The only problem was the elevators not being available for 4 days. I know it rained, but that should not have broken the elevator. We were on the top floor, so whenever we left we had some serious climbing as a reward for deciding to leave the hotel and venture into town. I find it hard to understand how rain would shut down an elevator. That tells me this building is not being maintained properly. They did offer to move us to another wing where the elevator was working , but we would lose our view and King Sized bed, as well as a smaller room. No thanks."

"We loved this hotel, so different! We did think that dinner could start earlier ie 7.30pm instead of 8pm We would have liked in room tea/ coffee facilities We would highly recommend the hotel food was excellent and of the region."

"Perfect expressway hotel. Clean, quiet, easily found. Very decent breakfast. And a restaurant / bar open until 2300 - was a very welcome benefit. Highly recommend."

"We enjoyed our 6-night stay at this unique hotel and city. The hotel is somewhat dated, but they do a great job at keeping it clean. Our room was mopped and tidied every day (5 stars for that!). We opted only for the buffet breakfast, which was excellent - included an omelet station, fruits, fresh breads, cheeses, meats, any kind of coffee/espresso/cappuccino, prosecco, and more. Highly recommend taking this option. The hotel is right on the beach and there are several restaurant options on the beach and the street in front of the hotel...all are clothing optional. The hotel requires clothing between 8PM and 8AM...but I accessed the gym with no issues before 8AM. The gym is limited to one treadmill, so I had to get there early. The entertainment staff is terrific...great young kids. We recommend!"

"We had a wonderful stay here. We booked a family room, which was perfect for the three nights we stayed, any longer I’d recommend two rooms for a family of four or more. We were half board and the breakfast and dinner offerings were wonderful. Pool areas were well maintained and the hotel team were pleasant. This is not a 4-5* lap of luxury hotel, it’s clean, the food is good and there’s a great relaxed vibe. We would absolutely stay again."

"Great location and stayed as pet friendly, the only negative was the hotel itself did not allow our dog in any of their eating areas even the outdoor terraces. So we ate in one of the private businesses next to the hotel."

"We had a wonderful stay at Playazimbali Hotel. The hotel has a beautiful location right by the beach, with lovely views and a very relaxing atmosphere. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious, and the whole property was very well maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the pool area, the beach and the overall peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. Breakfast was also very good, with plenty of choice. What we liked most was the combination of the beautiful beachfront location, comfortable facilities and friendly service. It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy a holiday. We would happily stay here again! 🌴☀️"

"The view and 2 bathroom with laundry was perfect for a family of 4 with 2 small children. Beachwalk to town and restaurant all the way around. Not much cooking in the house. We sleept well and we love to come back and stay in the house again. All the best!"
