"Spacious and comfortable apartment with a nice view. However, the curtains don’t block the sunlight well, making the room very bright early in the morning. Also, only hand soap was provided—no shampoo or shower gel, even though there were towels. As a result, I had to buy a €3.50 shower gel from the supermarket inside the reception, which was inconvenient. Additionally, some of the lights were broken."

"For perspective this was our fourth trip here stretching back 15 years. Our two bed apartment in Apollo Heights was fantastic. Large, spacious with a good balcony and view. "This is definite faded grandeur. The ground floor looks and feels beautiful but the rest of the hotel is tatty - not helped by a lack of cleaning In some of the common parts. Staff were slightly taciturn, but we went out of season and they might have been busy doing other things. The location though is fantastic and, crucially, there is a good breakfast! This hotel could be so much better with some love. As it is, it is over priced."
