The Royal Victoria Hotel

6/10 Okay

"Good location but half of the Llanberis attractions were closed for a variety of reasons which was disappointing. Large hotel catering for coach trips, food in the bar was good and the restaurant food was delicious however the breakfast was average as although we had a nice room to eat in the buffet breakfast was served in the coach trip room which wasn’t ideal. Our room in the Coach house was very small for almost £200 a night but it was clean and comfortable."

"Ideal central location in the middle of Bala High Street. Not enough parking on site. Small car park (at the rear) already full of people drinking at the pub, so had to park on street instead. Not enough staff available so had to wait a little to check in. Room was decent. Plenty of space with a nice modern bathroom suite and shower. Relatively quiet on the third floor, but quite a journey up three levels on an old staircase. Coffee/tea maker limited to a kettle and a handful of packs of instant coffee and tea bags. Only 4 small pots of UHT milk though. Breakfast is an additional charge of £10 per person."
