"What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!"

"Absolutely beautiful apartment. Great location across the street from the river for a nice stroll on the path by the river. It’s stocked with every possible amenity — even an espresso machine and ice maker. The kitchen is well stocked. The host is exceptionally responsive to any questions that may arise. Check in/out process was seamless. I would highly recommend for a 5-star experience."

Lovely view of sea from room and if not then only ten paces and at sea wall so you can hear it and feel near it. "The hotel, location and staff were excellent. It was just what we needed after a few days in Edinburgh and a long drive. Loved the self-service laundry facilities too. Although, they need to find ways to prevent guests leaving their clothes in for longer than needed. Breakfast was also good. I woukd definitely stay there again. Special thanks to Hayley on the front desk who came down to meet us and collected our bags, when we were trying to find parking."

"This hotel is well kept and quiet considering it sits just off Union Street and close to one of the main roads through Aberdeen. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were chatty and very friendly. I would come back and stay here. NCP is right next to the hotel although Sat Nav takes you to the exit of the NCP and it’s on a dual carriage way so a bit tricky to get to. After you’ve been around a couple of times you’ll get there lol"

"We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The room was so cool, with a fun foosball table and a great fun atmosphere. Our room was spotless, and the old-style tub added such a special touch to the bathroom. The bed was absolutely massive, with a super king-size bed, and we loved having a balcony as well. The food in the restaurant was excellent, too. Overall, a wonderful stay and a place we would highly recommend!"
