"We had a great stay as a family of four in the Mini House. Kitty and her family could not have been more welcoming. The house was perfect for our needs for a one night stay, exactly as described and very clean throughout. We especially enjoyed being able to use the pool and seeing the animals. The Mini House is situated in a peaceful location, yet close to amenities. We would definitely stay there again."

There is a common lockbox and after 7 hours of train delays, we arrived in the dark of night to find there wasn’t a key for us. Amazingly the hosts replied when we called at almost midnight and they did sort it out and come give us a key. "I was pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel is, I didn't know what to expect. It is in an unassuming location, it's very clean. The breakfast was great! The only negative thing about this place is that the process for room cleaning is a little unclear, apparently you have to scan a code to request for your room to be cleaned. The staff was friendly."

The main disappointment was that the listing didn't include all taxes, but rather before check-in, we had to pay an extra 10 Euros for a tax that was not included in the price. "The location was great, 25 minutes to train station, We used it as our base and trained to Brussels, Bruges, Antwerp. Came in on bus Flix bus from Amsterdam, maybe 40 minutes to walk from Dampoort bus. Only thing we wished had was broom dustpan that we could have swept as dirt from shoes.Steep steps but we had bigger suitcase and a small one and was great.
