"As someone who generally stays at APA hotels and the occasional capsule hotel, I'd consider this room to be "super-nice." It was a like an APA room but slightly more spacious and where most everything in the room was 'slightly nicer.' **Upsides: *The sliding door that separated the bedroom from the entryway went a long ways toward dampening sounds from the hallway, to the extent where I didn't hear anything when I had the door closed. *The bathroom was level with the entryway floor; it had the toilet and shower I've used at newer capsule hotels, but this time I didn't have to share them with anyone. *I didn't use the laundry room, but apparently the washing machine was free and the dryer cost 100yen per 20 minutes. Assuming the drying isn't "the slowest dryer I've yet to use in Japan" then this should come out to being a fine price for laundry. *The TV didn't prevent my from plugging in my Switch and playing some games. **Neutral: *Front desk was on the 4th floor, which I didn't see the sign saying until I'd taken a lap around the building, wondering where to go. *The two vending machines sold 'stuff I might buy,' but alas no hot coffee (which seems to require me to go to conbini for my after-meal cans of hot coffee, in Aomori in the summer). *There's apparently a public bath here, but I didn't use it. **Negatives: My view from the window was 'mostly of a wall,' although there was some cityscape from a certain angle."
"The room put off a feeling "this is a pretty nice little room," the moment I walked in. The furniture was nice, the TV was "nice but not huge," the carpet was nice, the bathroom was nice. The big down-side: It was uncomfortably warm in that room (in July, in Aomori), although the fact that I brought my own fan pretty much offset that. **Positives: *The black-out curtains weren't messing around. Even when it was sunny out, you wouldn't know it, if you had them drawn; they also kept the room cooler, when drawn. *The bed was super-comfortable for both sleeping on and sitting on while working on my laptop. *The TV made it easy to plug in my Switch and play some TotK. *The bathroom was 'generally pretty nice' but the shower was a stand-out; powerful, warm, and convenient. A ~very nice~ shower. *Check-in was 'pretty quick and mostly painless;' check-out was 'handed a guy my card, said thank you and was on my way.' *There was one of each of a Family Mart, 7-11 and Lawson within maybe a 4-7 min radius of the hotel. **Neutral: *I didn't check to see if there was a coin laundry in the hotel. *There were two vending machines, but I didn't use them. I don't think they had either hot coffee (which I like after meals) or zero-calorie side (which I like ~with~ meals), so they weren't useful to me. *Negatives: *The AC was weak; I supplemented it with my electric hand-fan to stay comfortable. *Room was sparkling, except for spots that clearly go ignored (eg. trim; behind stuff)."
"Rooms are dated and small, but comfortable. Walls/doors are thin, so you can hear anyone talking in the hallway or people moving around in the bathroom on the other side of the wall. Somewhat distracting but not a huge problem. The location is great, and check in/out is quick and easy. Staff are friendly. I didn’t eat the breakfast, so no feedback on that."
"The room is newly renovated and very clean. The staff are friendly. The breakfast is tasty. The hotel provides complementary large-size bottled water, cookies, and canned apple juice. The beds and pillows are comfortable. It’s a good choice for a nice stay in Aomori City."
"My partner and I really enjoyed our 2 night stay at ReLabo. Unfortunately, I couldn't book the two nights on the same reservation, so I had to check out of my first room and check into the second. Thankfully, the staff at the front was able to check me into the new room right away so we didn't need to wait around!
The hotel rooms were comfortable with ample space for lounging. Our first room had a bathtub while the second room had a shower. The amenities provided in the room were sufficient, and the public bath was clean and inviting. I enjoyed the apple bubbling bath in the women's bath a lot! And both times that I went, I was the only person using it in the morning around 8am.
The hotel breakfast was the only thing that wasn't outstanding. While the service was good, the food itself wasn't anything to write home about. We ordered an omelet with scallop sauce, a croque-monsieur, and had some salad and fruits. Nothing stood out but it also wasn't inedible. For the cost, I probably would skip it next time and eat somewhere in the food court of the station since there were so many great options!"
"This hotel seemed have grown from hot spring spa. Many other accommodations are attached. Restaurants, hot spring bath house, massage, beauty salon etc. Bit confusing set up. 7-8 minutes walk to the train station. Same distances to main attractions. You may have to walk through rather dark alley ways."
