"The property was beautiful, the food and drinks were great, the room was clean. However, the service was slow sometimes due to a lack of staff. Also the air conditioner acted up sometimes."
"The hotel is really new and certainly 5 star standard. Beautiful pools, rooms, facilities. Sadly let down by awful service. Many members of staff (more so junior) have 0 desire to be there and reflects in service standards. You’re asked to reserve restaurants, yet never 20 % full when I stayed, exemplified one night when I was asked to leave as I had no reservation - despite being 8 people in the restaurant with a capacity of 50+.
The GM did a great job to resolve but generally terrible...
SCHIMMEL...
"A lovely hotel, within working distance to Hanioti town, Also a short cab ride at a cost of EUR 7 to Pefkohori. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and a great asset to the hotel."
"Room
The room was overall clean, however there were a couple of spiders and mold in a corner that slightly affected the experience.
Staff
The staff was polite and hardworking. No complaints at all.
Breakfast
Very good breakfast including fresh fruits.
Pool
Decent size, regularly cleaned, located in a beautiful hillside with great views of the aegean."
"Ok stay, but some details did not match a 5-star luxury suite experience
Overall, our stay was okay, and there were some very positive aspects. The service at the outdoor restaurant was great, and the spa service was exceptional.
That said, considering this is a 5-star hotel and the Pomegranate Suite is presented as a luxury/high-end room, there were several details that could be improved. We had just spent a week at Sani Dunes, and the contrast was noticeable. A small touch such as fresh...
"Such an amazing experience. 10/10
The nicest and friendliest staff ever. Everything was so clean, and it’s a great location for families with little kids. We had such a wonderful stay and felt so welcomed.Highly recommend!"
"Had a fabulous 5 days celebrating my friend’s 50th. Staff are so attentive and helpful. They couldn’t do more for you. We were lucky enough to be upgraded from a standard family room to a 2 bed deluxe suite which was amazing. The deluxe pool was a delight. I loved the gin trolley and the free flowing Taittenger!"
"Best location ever - direct, private beach access and based in the lovely town of Kallithea. Sun beds always available, no matter what time of day (and we went in August!). Great pool and meticulously maintained social areas and beach bar. Excellent bus service from town in air conditioned coaches meant no need for a hire car to explore the Kassandra Peninsular."
