"I am writing this in hope that future disabled guests are better served.
No 3 pin plugs next to the bed.
Disabled access around the hotel is not sufficient.
3 We can't use the fridge for cold drinks as an extension wire has had to be used in that plug socket, this was to enable my husbands CPAP machine to be placed next to the bed. Using the only accessable 3 pin plug.
Extension cord has been placed in front of the door which is a huge trip hazard.

"This hotel does not live up to the Intercontinental name. The hotel needs major room renovations. The lobby area and restaurant areas are nice but the rooms are so outdated. The 1st room we checked in had a musty smell and the carpets were stained. Asked for a room change, the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The 2nd room was a bit better but the same issue with the old carpet. We had club access which gave us separate breakfast area, tea time and pre-dinner food and drinks.

"The hotel overall was stunning especially the indoor pool but the room was one of the worst laid out i have stayed in with no desk area and the sink for bathroom in the middle of the room, no privacy. We had no window which made the room feel small and stuff despite it being a king room, felt like it had no ventilation. Lights and AC were on some sort of timer that kept going off and couldnt be disabled. Not the standard im used to from a hyatt."
"We had an excellent visit. The staff are fantastic. Also, the property is grand and elegant although you can tell it is an older property, which is why we were so happy to have a room that been recently renovated and was is in pristine condition. The Corinthia Palace is a beautiful, classy hotel and we highly recommend it."
"Comfortable, well-run hotel. Helpful staff, especially the concierge and reception staff.
The balconies are stylish but not much use for sitting out - better to opt for a bigger room.
The menus are unchanging apart from the "specials"."
"Lovely clean hotel. Room was lovely. Some areas eg around the pool and beach club require some updating.
Staff very helpful especially Christina and Emilia in the executive lounge who couldn’t do enough to help. Even suggested great places for us to visit and helped with directions too.
Walking distance to plenty of restaurants. Not disturbed by noise from nearby Paceville at all."
"Must have been lovely when it was first built, but really needs * reviewing now in its present state. Repeatedly poor restocking of plates and glasses at buffet breakfasts, but good selection of cold and cooked food. Some tables with cloths and mats, others no covering. Scrawny paper napkins!? Furniture dusty.
Seating in reception, fillings to chair backings sagging and trim missing, (but beautiful scrolled arms). Beds Very Firm/hard - unlike anywhere else we have stayed.
Compared with the...
"The hotel and staff were excellent . so helpful and attentive.
Great amentities and loved the shopping mall being built in access from hotel.
Would go back when the facilities are competed and the surrounding roads are walkable."
