In peak summer there is a family pool and adults only pool. The family pool was quiet and nice area to relax.
About 20-30 mins to Siena we explored lots of lovely hill top places for dinner each night.
Pool side dining was ok, club sandwiches that type of thing not extensive choice but adequate.

"This a lovely property in the heart of Tuscany. Views across the rolling hills are phenomenal. Interiors of the old buildings have been redone with taste and practicality. Beautiful church on property plus heated pool. Staff top notch. Our suite was large and very tasteful. One caveat: it is semi-remote so if no car you will eat all your meals there. Good restaurant. Even with car, driving out to dinner will be challenging because of winding roads."
