"When we first checked in to the hotel (rooms 333 and 334), the rooms were clearly not dusted in a while (could see visible dust on the nightstands, lamps, water bottles, rods in bathroom etc.). The sofa had large spots and were dirty. The WiFi was spotty too (general property had 30+MBps while the room had a weak ~1MBps had frequent connection drops). We immediately called the reception and let them know about the issue. We felt we booked the wrong place for our stay.

"I spent a week here in September 2026. This hotel is handy enough to all the local night life but is quiet enough to be relaxing. There are a lot of good local restaurants within the vicinity. It’s great to just try new foods. A first for me was a Xacuti. Very spicy. Very good."
"Very nice property....not near the sea (beach is about 2 km away) and a quiet location.
Very friendly and well appointed staff...very helpful. The Front desk manager Bhawana Rai was truly exceptional....very friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful with an excellent sense of humor.
Great Bar with lovely music (albeit a tad bit loud for me) and fantastic food. Overall a great property if beach is not your primary criteria."
"The food is very tasty
The service is very fast
The staff is very kind
Just one problem the rooms are different than in the photos

"One of the best 5 star hotels I've stayed at. Beautiful property, great amenities, restaurants had great food and the staff and guest service were simply the best."
"The shower diverter was broken as both shower and tap were running together, apart from that the property is excellent with great location and great amenities"
"The staff and service was incredible. They were so attentive to detail. They made our girls trip so memorable. They even sent us a printed picture that was taken on our arrival. They sent a heating pad when my sister was sick. The breakfast spread was one of the best buffets I’ve ever eaten at. The pool looked amazing, unfortunately could not use due to chlorine levels.
But regardless this property is a must stay! Can not recommend this place enough"
"Novotel Candolim is a very good and centrally located property with all the amenities you could ever wish and you can walk to any local shop or restaurant within a few minutes. Swimming pool is a nice place to be with a nice 35 meter length. Very clean and very nice. All the staff work as a team and are very friendly and professional. Breakfast is just amazing and we had many evening buffet dinners which were all very nice and the menus were varied and rotated daily.
In short this hotel was a...
