"Loved this hotel
We booked here last minute for a little mini moon after getting married last Friday
We stayed 2 nights and everything about this hotel was amazing
The reception staff were fabulous and so was the man who greeted us when we come showing us to our room and showed us how to use the hot tub.
Can’t fault this hotel at all and was just perfect to what we needed
We happened to mention it was our honeymoon and they upgraded us to a roof top room
I thought the Champers on arrival was...
"Staff were great but there were very clear signs of wear and tear which for the price was poor. Outside seating area was very worn and tired. Black mould in the corner of the room. Threadbare bath mat.
For £800+/night the upkeep of the room should have been a lot better."
"The property is within a stone's throw from everything in Bowness, but that's about it. The flat itself is spacious, but it is meh. It lacks some touches, and most amenities need refurbishing/replacing. The host Kay was very...
"Beautiful property out of the bustle of nearby Ambleside or Hawkshead. Lovingly cared for and staffed. Gorgeous views, delicious breakfast and dinner, and a hot shower. Hikes out the door. 5 minute walk to Beatrix Potter's home at Hill Top. We hope to return."
"The whole experience was amazing, all of staff where brilliant and relaxed. The food for breakfast was exactly what you wanted, the room was clean and big enough for 4 and the hot tub was clean, warm and natural. I cannot imagine us not going back."
"Great stay, lovely hosts who couldn’t do enough to help! Breakfast was also great with a good selection! Parking onsite which is an added bonus! Would definitely return! "
"I rarely write reviews about holiday stays but had to do so for our three night stay at Grange Manor. The room was fabulous-luxurious,spotless and so comfortable and the extra finishing touches made it a home from home. Breakfast served every morning in the room was a delight. No noisy dining room nor rush to have table cleared away. All was at our pace which was what we wanted. A peaceful haven in a beautiful setting with the most friendly and helpful staff made this break first class. We...
"Our room was spacious and it was quiet after dinner hours. The hosts were exceptionally generous and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and served in a beautiful room. Great place to stay in the Lake District!"
