"We stayed here for 3 nights for a family wedding as the reception was at the hotel. The staff were helpful, the room was nice, spacious and generally clean. We did not know parking was an additional charge but was not ridiculous (£4 per day).
I particularly enjoyed the power shower and the lobby area on the ground floor which was great for socialising with others after the event."
"It is a beautiful property surrounded by a nice golf course. The room was a good size with a pleasant bathroom with a bath. The room itself smelt a bit damp. It was a dog friendly room so that may have been the lingering smell. The beds were nice with firm mattresses. The staff were helpful."
"Property was a little dated and in need of a refurb. Coffee machine at the bar not working and they ran out of forks at breakfast.
Checked in at 3pm, however, room was not ready with cleaners still cleaning the room. We were asked to go and wait in the bar for 20 minutes. No offer of a drink whilst we waited."
"Overall i would rate the hotel 7/10. Good location, pleasant staff worth value for money ie cheap and cheerful. The place could do with more upkeep and upgrading. Although the style of the manor was old Victorian its worn out looking. Otherwise cant fault the place. Personally wouldn't go back there its too far out maybe book nearer Manchester itself. The rooms need to be cleaned daily. We stayed 3 nights and neither the bedding or bins had been changed."
"A little gem in the heart of Hebden Bridge. From the moment we arrived, the staff were polite and helpful. As vegans, it was lovely to have oat milk included as standard with the tea and coffee items in our room, and the vegan breakfast was lovely. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We will definitely return."
"A good find, lovely room, only downside for elderly less mobile was shower over bath but it was a great shower. Staff very attentive and polite. Food at dinner was good, freshly cooked but a little slow. Great setting and would recommend and certainly go again if in the area."
"This is an absolutely charming inn attached to a pub and restaurant. The room is cozy and updated. The restaurant food is local, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Sunday roast was just delicious. You’re in the Yorkshire Dales National Park with a number of beautiful walks/hikes right outside the door."
