"Accommodatie goed en schoon. Personeel heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Restaurant lekker, de kaart kan misschien wat uitgebreider, maar wij waren er vrij lang. Dat betekent ook dat je een band met het personeel opbouwt. Dat was heel fijn."
"The property is absolutely beautiful. It’s peaceful and tranquil. The food at the restaurant is delicious and the breakfast buffet is plentiful with a ton of variety that will suit everyone’s pallet. The staff is very helpful and wonderful and will go above and beyond to make your stay very welcomed and comfortable. They accommodated us even when we were checking out and stored our luggage while we waited to check into our new destination. We were even given little goodie bags. Our room was...
"I wanna thank the amazing staff, they were all super nice and attentive , the Hotel is AMAZING, it makes you feel like you are home, the view is just out of this world. I would without a doubt stay there every time visiting San Geminiano.
PS: Parking was easy and Breakfast was 5 stars.."
"Beautiful 14th century villa in the Tuscan hills with very pretty pool and restaurant areas, and very helpful and friendly staff. The food was hearty and enjoyable, but not the highest standard, even compared to restaurants in the area. It's in a great location for exploring Florence, Chianti region and Siena. The room we used (superior garden view) was good, very interesting features due to the age of the property, with a stunning view. However, it was not very cosy for spending time in and the...
"The hotel is in a beautiful location with stunning views. It’s a 30 minute walk into San Gimignano. A taxi, IF you can get one costs €30 during the day and €60 after 8. It would be great if the hotel offered a shuttle service but it doesn’t.
The hotel is part way through a refurbishment, some rooms are still to be upgraded. Our room had a stunning view of the Tuscan countryside. The Spa is only one in the afternoon.
Front desk staff were very good, restaurant staff less so. The restaurant is...
"I’m not even sure where to start with this incredible property. It’s an absolute oasis in the heart of Chianti wine region. Theres an extremely well kept pool that overlooks the rolling hills of wineries. The staff are amazing, so accommodating, and predict your every need. The rooms are great and clean and perfect for a couple traveling to wine region. If you aren’t driving yourself, make sure to reach out to the hotel ahead of time to book any car services — transfers within the region are...
"The property is now under new ownership and it’s so upsetting because the views are absolutely breathtaking but housekeeping is only done upon request and even when you request it they leave the room service dishes in the middle of the table and do t replace your towels. We had to arrange our own taxis and handle our own luggage. This property has a long way to go in the hospitality industry if they’re going to succeed!"
"This is an absolutely stunning property. The restaurant and bar prices are high considering the already high price tag to stay here. There is a lack of staff and the rooms could use a good dusting (we stayed in 2 rooms and thought this could be said about both). The breakfast had a lovely selection and the waitress serving coffee was very friendly. The pool is beautiful but very cold, and it can be difficult to sit outside due to the mosquitoes. We enjoyed our 3 night stay but would not...
"The property is clean and lovely. It is set in the middle of the Tuscan countryside which is beautiful beyond words. The room was quaint and comfortable and the bed was comfortable. There is nothing close to this place but vineyards and olive trees, so you will want a car. We saw a deer running along the side of the road. The nearest major city is Sienna, which is 15 minutes away and which you do not want to miss seeing.
The hotel has a nice restaurant that opens for breakfast, lunch, and...
"On the previous rating and comments that we were requested, there were enough space, so si wanted to add that the hotel was very generous with the mini bar.
The breakfast service was more present during the 2nd morning, but you can tell that some staff were not trained for this line of work.
From how to hand a spoon to a guest to clear plates during the meal (you pretty much had to do it by yourself).
The check-out process went well with a couple of gift to apologize for the short coming.
When...
