"I really would not recommend staying here. The hotel is in a great spot for the museum and Mercedes world but the hotel itself looks like it was designed by the premier inn team on their day off. We stayed for two nights in a deluxe room, as it’s an ‘eco’ hotel the room wasn’t turned down. I was charged 15 to check in early and 28 to park. We had two fairly dreadful pizzas from room service for 45. The WiFi was not great and the limited view of the track from the room consisted of people slowly...

"Room felt very warm and, despite asking at Reception before we went out for the evening for it to be adjusted, it didn’t seem any cooler when we returned. Nice, smart hotel in convenient location but I did not feel comfortable with the security, or rather the lack of it. Rooms are accessible directly from the bar and restaurant areas with no need to show or swipe a room card to gain access. If I were travelling alone this would be a huge issue for me and would make me want to go elsewhere."

"Excellent location within easy walking distance of train station, castle, cathedral, local shops and cafes/restaurants. We watched the World Cup football in the Tap Bar downstairs. Staff were lovely and welcoming and the bar had a nice atmosphere and buzz to it. 5* for warmth and friendliness of staff and location. 3.5* for rooms - great for a night's stay and clean and comfortable. The complimentary biscuits and water were a nice touch."
